What is mediation?

Mediation is a process in which two or more parties to a dispute come together in the presence of an independent Mediator with the aim of finding a solution to their dispute that is acceptable to the parties.

Save time and money

Where there is a group of people who are involved in a personal or working relationship there is always the possibility of a conflict arising. This usually happens simply because they have differing expectations of each other's reactions to any given situation. Conflict can provide a useful opportunity for the parties involved in a dispute to learn more about how each of them thinks and feels. Mediation allows this exploration to happen in a safe and private place so that parties can be open and honest, gain a better undestanding of how and why the dispute arose and work out solutions to their difficulties together. This may include an agreement of what triggers need to be avoided in their future relationship with each other.
